Eddie Addison entered the real estate business in 1989 when he got in on the ground floor of a Master Planned Community on Lake Thurmond/Clarks Hill Lake that was a private-public partnership with the State of South Carolina, U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the largest private community developer-builder in the U.S. There he was taught quickly that it wasn’t as much about the house but about where people wanted to live, what they wanted to do and who they were going to do it with! He moved his family to Southport, NC in 1998 to take a position at St James Plantation. His straight forward approach has earned the trust of many. He takes it personal….if you win, he wins. “You don’t know what you don’t know”. He loves his business because he meets new people every day and helps them with a new chapter in their lives.. it’s important work. He and his wife of 35 years have raised three children and they are also grandparents. They love the outdoors, help with the local food bank, multiple volunteer programs and High School Lacross.

In 2001 my family and I were preparing to move into our newly built home in St James. My boys, Austin and Brandon, were 1 & 2 years old, and my wife Sharon and I were beyond excited to move into “the best hometown in America”. But how time flies! Twenty years later we have so many fond memories of getting clams on the waterway, crabbing at the waterway park, rounds of golf that went until sunset or until Sharon called us back for dinner, offshore fishing trips for wahoo and grouper, full days at the beach club with sun and fun, or just hanging out at the indoor pool on a rainy day. Here we are in 2021 and my oldest, Brandon, is graduating from college, and my youngest, Austin, is in his second year of college in Wilmington.
My wife and I celebrate our 24th anniversary this week and 20 years in our home here at St James. We are now empty nesters but realize how incredibly blessed we were to have had the opportunity to raise a family in St James and Southport. My wife and I are excited for this next stage in our lives and someday being grandparents and inviting them to visit and enjoy all the benefits this hometown has to offer. However, there's no rush on the grandparent thing :). I can’t wait for Penn State and college football season, to go fishing offshore, tee the golf ball up, and most of all see you the next time your here.

Hoke Flynt

Hoke is a licensed real estate Broker with 20 years of experience in the Profession, working exclusively at St. James Plantation for his entire real estate career. As a native North Carolinian and long-time resident of the Cape Fear region, Hoke has experienced first-hand all that St. James has to offer. Hoke is married to his high-school sweetheart, Julie, and has two teenaged sons and two golden retrievers. Hoke’s family has enjoyed the amenities St. James offers through the years.
From fishing and boating to golfing, tennis, biking the nature trails, or spending a leisurely day at the pool or beach, the Flynt family has done it all. Hoke has 2 bachelor degrees in Business Management and Economics from North Carolina State University and is an unapologetic, rabid Wolfpack fan. Hoke’s knowledge of the area, extensive experience in St. James and desire to help families find the perfect fit is the reason many of his clients now call St. James home.

Howie Molloy

I received my NC Real Estate License in 1992 and have worked at St. James Properties for years. I purchased my first home on Oak island in 1996. I can represent both buyers and sellers in St. James and over the last 6 years I have been a top 5 buyer’s agent. I grew up in Hillsborough NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1990. I currently live in St. James with my girlfriend Kristi and my dog Blu.

I have lived and worked in St James since 2010 with my wife Vivi and our two dogs and cat. I have over 20 years of real estate experience in master-planned communities. Originally from Williamsburg, VA where I graduated from Old Dominion University. We raised two boys here who have since graduated from college. I enjoy golf, boating and fishing and the great outdoors.
We keep a boat in the St James Marina. My wife loves to garden and walks the beach almost daily. We love the small-town lifestyle of Southport and Oak Island, and Wilmington is very convenient.

David Nieves

  • David grew up in Staten Island New York, joined the military at 18 years old, and proudly served a 24-year military career: 10 years as a Commission Naval Officer (Health Care Administrator) and 14 years as an Air Force enlisted Non-Commission Officer (Carpenter with Civil Engineering for four years and then obtained his Bachelor’s Degree and transitioned his career as an Industrial Engineer and for ten years).
  • Upon retirement from the Navy in 2004 as a Lieutenant Commander, David then pursued his second career as a Real Estate Broker specializing in developer-owned lifestyle residential sales. In 2005, David joined the sales team at Daniel Island Real Estate in Charleston SC and then in 2014, he relocated to the Wilmington/Southport area where he fell in love with the coastal lifestyle on North Carolina, laid back atmosphere and warmth of the residents who chose to live in St James Plantation.
  • Currently, David holds the Broker-in-Charge designation and continuously achieves Top 1% of Brokers status in the Brunswick County Association of Realtors (BCAR).
  • David has the personal experience of buying and selling personal properties. This experience helps him to appreciate the mindset of prospective buyers in St James Plantation. Also, when David Nieves shows homes he uses his carpentry experience to point out architectural features and other important details that demonstrate the craftsmanship of the builders in St James Plantation. It is very rewarding to educate a client on all that St James Plantation has to offer and to help them secure their residence and meet new friends and neighbors in St James Plantation.
  • Education has always been a priority for David, and during his time with the U.S. Air Force, he received a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and a graduate degree in human resources. It was then that David applied for and was accepted for a direct commission with the U.S. Navy Medical Service Corps as a Naval Officer and health care administrator.  David later went on to complete a dual Master’s degree in business and health care.
  • David’s assignments as a Naval Officer included San Francisco, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Nashville Tenn., where he spent four years recruiting medical professionals with an emphasis on physician recruitment. David’s skills as a recruiter and sales professional for the Navy were unrivaled, and he was named Officer Recruiter of the Year.  He was eventually assigned to Charleston Naval Hospital in 2002 and then retired in 2005.

Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Lisa grew up the oldest of 4 children and has two sisters and one brother. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration and Design and spent 17 years successfully running her own award winning photography business in both California and North Carolina after relocating to Wilmington 2005.
